I'm Back

I know it's been awhile since I posted on this blog. The truth is that I haven't felt like writing much or podcasting lately. I have many reasons for my long absence, but let's just say I needed a long long long mental break.  I absolutely love being a part of the cast and hearing all the positive feedback from my listeners. In fact, that's why I record a lot of content. It's fun to talk and even more fun for me to speak from my heart. For me, authenticity is a must. I hope you all are enjoying the podcast and share it with whoever it can serve the best. It warms my heart just to talk and to know that someone somewhere is listening to me. I plab to start fresh at the beginning of 2025. I won't put a specific date on it because I don't want to get anybody hopes up or feel like a failure.  Even though I don't need to apologize, I'm sorry for the inconsistent episodes. I promise to get back to it soon. Until then, stay safe and blessed out there! Have a...

Wesleyan Wednesday

This podcast started because of the college I was attending at the time. However, the college wasn't that accessible to me. I asked my past vocational rehabilitation counselor why this was so, and she said it was a private college. This is the same excuse she gave when I needed help financially with school in which she stated that VR doesn't pay for private colleges. They did pay for a very small part of the tuition.  In my opinion, a school should be more open to accommodating its students considering that they will bw making money off of them. Unfortunately, the world and some schools do not share my point of view. Thus, Wesleyan Wednesday turned into Wes-when Wednesday. I ended up leaving the college after being laughed at, hit with doors, yelled at, and falling down the stairs. I sprung my ankle once while I was there. It wasn't funny then, and its not funny now. I'm willing to bring back a segment for Wednesdays, and I've already got one in mind. I was thinking...

Podcast Day 5:; Friendship Friday

This should have been posted a couple days ago, but like I said before I have a lot going on in my life. Please forgive me and read on.  Friendship Friday doesn't have that many episodes because I'm not sure where to take this segment. It origionally started out as a good deeds episode where where I talk with my friends live on the podcast to share their experiences on certain topics such as school, money, etc. I also tell one thing that I did that week to celebrate Friendship Friday which could be anything from calling them and wishing them well to sending a memory letting them know I'm thinking of them. This is a short blog today, but I hope it was as enjoyable for you reading it as it was for me writing it. If you're interested in being a part of the podcast, I would love to interview you. You can contact me using any of the methods beow, and I'll try and get back to you in a timely fashion. Contact Me Twitter (aka X)- @brittsamillion Facebook- Real Talk in the ...

Podcast Day 4: Thoughtful Thursday

This is honestly my favorite segment of the podcast. I place it in high value next to Soothing Sunday . Thoughtful Thursday came before all other segments. I originally thought this podcast should be centered around one topic because I already do a bunch of things on my YouTube channel.  Considering everything in my mind, I realized that the podcast could be a great alternative for some people. Thus, these podcast topics were born.  Anyway, Thoughtful Thursday is basically a day for me to release my thoughts to the world. It kind of helps me cleanse my conscience of all the clutter. It's like spring cleaning in my head. At first I was worried about releasing my thoughts to the world. I didn't know how affective it would be or if people would judge me. Fortunately for me, that hasn't happened yet.  Topics on this day range from disabilities to emotions to anything else on my mind. As you can see, these topics vary. If you're interested in knowing my thoughts on anything,...

Podcast Day 3: Wonder Tech Tuesday

I apologize for not putting this up yesterday. I had some urgent matters to attend to, but I'm back.  Wonder Tech Tuesday is where I demonstrate various pieces of technology such as Braille displays for the Blind, magnifiers foe low vision patrons, and many more. Originally, I wanted to keep this strictly an assistive Tech segment. " *NOTE*: Assistive technology is Technology made specifically for a disabled person.  If there are other things you think I should talk about, my contact info will be listed at the end of this post or on the podcast. My aim for this segment is to help others understand what I know about technology and to share some tips and tricks on using said technology.  If you found this post interesting and want to learn more, tune in every other Tuesday starting from the last one (Aug 29th). I appreciate any feedback, constructive and positive please, that I get.  Contact Me If Desired Twitter(aka X)- @brittsamillion YouTube- @wolfegirl24 Instagram...

Podcast Day 2: Mindful Monday

If you've been listening to this segment on my podcast, you'd know that it is pretty similar to another segment of mine, Thoughtful Thursday, which we will discuss at a later time. For now, I'd like to tell you about this particular segment for knowledge purposes  Mindful Monday started out as a place for me to share my thoughts on various worldly topics like money and fame. However, it became clear to me that I think better on Thusdays for some reason. I guess it's because the end of the week is near and everything boils over in my head. Now that you know about the segment, I'm opening up the floor to anyone reading this in the hopes that you all might help me come up with a different segment for Mondays. Please shoot me a DM on Twitter (X) @brittsamillion and let me know a good name and description of the segment, and of yours gets picked I'll give you a shoutout.  If you're interested I'm keeping in touch with my life or want other fun things to explo...

Podcast Day 1: Soothing Sunday

I wanted to spend some time giving people the details of each segment of my podcast. The first of these days is Soothing Sunday which is where I talk about the Bible. I play two chapters in audio before discussing the parts that stood out to me. Occasionally, I'll talk about prayer and how helpful it is to have something to believe in.  Interested? Great! Tune in to Real Talk in the Life of Britt starting from yesterday, Aug. 27, and continuing on every other Sunday. I'm always grateful for my listeners and their support, so please feel free to DM me on Twitter (aka X) @brittsamillion. I would appreciate any feedback, but please be constructive when critical.  As a bonus for this blog post, I'd like to throw in a question. Ok, here it is. What is your biggest aspiration in life? Seriously! It could be anything. My answer will be in tomorrow's post. Stay tuned and let me know! .
